Gary DeGraide's broadcasting career has now approached institutional status.  He has not only entertained millions of people, but since his change of lifestyle, he has been an encouraging Christian voice in Southern New England.

For decades he's performed with a clarity of character.  He's been on stage with Boston Pops, the Rhode Island Philharmonic and literally hundreds of stars - plus several of his own local bands.

He helped record a successful CD called "Christmas Lights" which raised tens of thousands of dollars for charity.  Many local and national charities had him serve as a master of ceremonies for their events.

Besides his highly successful career as a radio and television entertainer, Gary has appeared and spoken at many Christian events sharing how his life has been changed by Christ.  He's been blessed to be part of dozens of recovery groups and currently teaches relapse prevention at the Salvation Army.

Gary has traveled extensively, has been married for 40 years to Susan and has two married sons with 4 grandchildren.

"I've done many exciting things," says the avid golfer and tennis player.  "I've wrestled a bear, rode an elephant, flew on a flying trapeze and dined with many stars but nothing compares with having a personal relationship with my loving Savior."

Gary DeGraide let's his light shine and you can hear him at Shine Radio (or Shine 1220, you decide.)
